How Does Botox® Work?

As our facial muscles move, they force our skin to crease and move with the muscles, causing wrinkles and fine lines to occur over time. Botox® will work by paralyzing only the specific muscles that create the wrinkle or crease.

In the days following the procedure, a gradual smoothing will occur in the affected sites. The effects of Botox® will take 3-5 days to set in.

The effects of Botox® can last between 4-6 months. Results can vary per patient.
